Nos Audietis

We're less than three days removed from the Seattle Sounders defeating the LA Galaxy 2-1 but finding themselves eliminated from the 2014 MLS Playoffs on away goals. We discuss the match and offer up some thoughts about the season in general while trying not to weep in our beer ... assuming we're drinking some.

Sounders GM Adrian Hanauer joins us as well to discuss the playoffs, the 2014 season and to begin looking ahead a bit towards 2015. He even gives us a couple scoops about who might be staying with the club next season. There's also listener questions to be answered.

Nos Audietis is back to discuss the state of the 2014 Western Conference final at the halftime break. The Seattle Sounders fell 1-0 in LA against the Galaxy, so they return home needing a win by at least two goals to book a spot in the MLS Cup Final.

We're joined by ESPN commentator Taylor Twellman to look back at the first leg and look ahead to the second leg and we've got plenty of listener questions to answer as well.

The Seattle Sounders are in the Western Conference Finals and we're back to talk all about it. Aaron returns after a week away to offer his thoughts on the draw win over FC Dallas and we look forward to the tie against the LA Galaxy. Speaking of those pesky Galaxy, we're joined by Ryan Rosenblatt for a quick preview of the final and try to get him to make a prediction.

We're also joined by Howler writer Kevin Koczwara who wrote the infamous story about everyone's favorite advocate of promotion and relegation in American soccer.

In the wake of the Seattle Sounders 1-1 draw against FC Dallas in the first leg of their Western Conference Semifinal series, we're back for a bit a shorter show due to some scheduling issues. That said, we've still got plenty of bang for your proverbial buck with some quality analysis of the match from Jeremiah and the Ginge.

Better than that though is an interview with ESPN's Alexi Lalas who talks about the Sounders, the importance of winning MLS Cup, the budding rivalries in New York and Los Angeles, and more.

Thanks to two late goals from Marco Pappa the Seattle Sounders claimed their first Supporters' Shield over the weekend, defeating the LA Galaxy 2-0 and securing home field advantage against absolutely everybody. We review the match, revel in the glory and laugh at Landon Donovan's misfortune.

We're joined as well by Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid who discusses a variety of topics with Jeremiah from his office at Starfire, and there's plenty of listener questions to be answered as well.

It is truly a show full of whimsy.

The Sounders showed resolve and the will to fight on Sunday coming back from a 2-0 deficit in the second half to draw the LA Galaxy. The point moves Seattle within one single point of their first Supporter's Shield, which they can earn this weekend against the Galaxy at CenturyLink. We discuss the match, offer our thoughts on the game and behave in a dignified manor when mentioning that Omar Gonzalez is suspended.

Hehehehehe.

Ryan Rosenblatt of SB Nation Soccer joins us to discuss both last weekend's match against LA and the upcoming season finale with his usual wit, knowledge and questionable charm. There's also plenty of listener questions to be answered.

The Seattle Sounders lost to the Vancouver Whitecaps, failing to claim the Cascadia Cup in the process. Despite the loss, they remained even with the Galaxy in the Supporter's Shield race thanks to some help from FC Dallas. We discuss the Whitecaps match and look ahead to the two-part season finale against the LA Galaxy.

We also take time to discuss Don Garber's meltdown over Jurgen Klinsmann's latest anti-MLS comments, and offer opinions about the arrival of the new USL Pro team, Seattle Sounders 2. There's also plenty of listener questions to answer.

The Seattle Sounders returned to action over the weekend with a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids. After an up and down performance against Chivas USA, the Sounders looked better overall this weekend and we break down the result.

We're joined as well by Jaime Clark, the head coach of the newly #1 ranked Washington Huskies men's soccer team. We talk about the program, the growth of the sport in the Pacific Northwest and more. There's also listener questions to be answered.

After a rough road trip that started wonderfully and ended rather horribly, the Seattle Sounders returned home and defeated Chivas USA. Nos Audietis returns to talk about the match, discuss Zach Scott's injury and the impact it has on the defense, and more.

There's also Chivas USA news to discuss as the club is reportedly close to getting new owners and going on hiatus for a couple years for rebranding and, well, basically to become an entirely new club. Plus there's listener questions to be answered.

After the triumph in the US Open Cup Final against the Union, things have gone a bit sour for the Seattle Sounders with two straight league losses against the New York Red Bulls and FC Dallas. Jeremiah, Aaron and Zach return to look back at the past week's results, try to figure out what's going on and generally be grumpy. Zach also shares his observations from the Dallas match, which he was in attendance for, spending a lot of time complaining about a lack of width.

We're also joined by Alicia Rodriguez from The Goat Parade to preview this weekend's match against Chivas USA. There's also listener questions to be answered as well.

We talk about the match and continue to try and handicap the Sounders chances of finishing at the top of MLS this season. We're also joined by William Murphy from The Brotherly Game to preview Tuesday's US Open Cup Final.

This show is another short one, but don't fret! We'll be back later in the week to talk all about the Open Cup, and hopefully celebrate the Sounders lifting another trophy.

Since we last spoke with you the Seattle Sounders have won two games, defeating the Colorado Rapids and Chivas USA to wrestle back a slight advantage in the Supporters Shield race. We discuss both matches and look ahead at how the stretch run of the season could play out.

In the MLS Wrap we talk about expansion news as several cities are making noise about wanting an MLS team, while another city that had a team gifted to them appears unable to take advantage. We also touch on the USMNT friendly, Jordan Morris and Carlos Bocanegra's impending retirements.

There's also listener questions and some disappointed talk about the Seattle Reign.

We're also joined by Seattle Reign head coach Laura Harvey ahead of the NWSL Championship and we talk to Claivon from the Anchor-and-Rose 48. Plus the return of listener questions after a week away.

We're back with episode 150 of everyone's favorite Sounders centric podcast! It's a little hard to believe we've reached the 150 mark, but it's a testament to all of our listeners for embracing the show and helping it become a Seattle institution ... because we totally are right?!

This week on the show we discuss Seattle's win over the Houston Dynamo that got them back in the win column after two straight losses. It wasn't the prettiest game, but sometimes a win is a win. We discuss the biggest stories around MLS from the week including Landon Donovan's retirement, Mix Diskerud, and more.

Nos Audietis returns in an attempt to prevent outright panic after a second straight Sounders loss over the weekend. This time, our beloved team fell 1-0 against the San Jose Earthquakes, which is bad for several reasons. First, it's the Earthquakes. Second, their team president is obsessed with Google Glass ... and that's just awful. We pick apart the result, and explain why it's not panic time just yet.

We debut a revamped MLS Wrap segment and discuss the upcoming MLS All-Star Game (yawn), potential DP news, Orlando City FC moving their planned stadium over one block, and more. There's also listener questions to be answered as well.

We're back with a shorter edition of Nos Audietis because we simply couldn't resist talking about the Sounders win over Portland in the US Open Cup. We break down the nearly demoralizing, but ultimately oh so satisfying result from Starfire, and spend some time discussing the rather insane comments by Timbers head coach Caleb Porter after the match. Is Porter just trying to deflect attention away from Diego Chara's red card, or is he becoming an "excuses" coach?

There's also listener questions to be answered as well.
